RAW Exercise for Cassandra

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/8d/Woman_sewing_a_tivaevae%2C_Rarotonga.jpg

There is an old Maori woman sitting on the ground while weaving a Tivaevae, it is bundled over her legs. Sitting rather snug on her lap there is the cutest 'lady cat'. The cat's expression is that of pure delight, content with her owner, friend and companion. Alike the woman's face says how much she loves her fuzzy minion and how she is so happy just to sit in the comfort of the warm sun and bask with her kitty.

The background is an intricate waeving of Palm tree leaves which gives a nice contrast to the bright colourful geometric patterns of the Tivaevae covering the subject.

The Tivaevae is bundled together folding and twisting. The woman has made a little cradle for the cat, as if to say, "you're alright, safe and sound, I am going to look after you now."
